The aim of this blog is for me to talk about the process of chainmaille, both for the aspiring chainmailler and for the generally curious. Several topics come to mind right away:
* Rings - what makes a good ring, and why is obsessive attention to quality so damn important?
* Materials - you can make chainmaille out of almost anything, but...
* Process - you actually open and close all of those rings?!
* Weaves - what on earth is a Full Persian, and is he twice as big as the Half Persian?
* Design - because people might actually want to wear this stuff, it should be pretty.
* Tumbling - obscure, but important: how to abuse your chainmaille so it can become better.
* Chainmaillers - because there are at least three types of people who make this stuff.
* Selling/Pricing - that's what I do, that's what I love, but that's what makes it hard.
* PRETTY PICTURES - why else did you come here?

Welcome to my chainmaille cave
I've decided to explore blogging as a means of providing photos and information about the design, production, and business of chainmaille (chain, chainmail, maille, ringmaille, whatever you like) jewelry.
